Seattle based Amazon.com said that according to the report provided by ComScore the online retailer was the number one choice for buying products online. The report indicates that Amazon.com topped the Black Friday online sales list and that is mainly because of the price and the kind of promotions that Amazon had done before to ensure that they get better customers during the weekend. The report indicates that Amazon.com has beaten Wal-Mart, Target and Best Buy when it comes to online sales. The report also indicates that more and more consumers have been trying to find deals online.

The number of sales that have happened online this year is 16% higher than the number of sales that happened on the web last year during the same weekend. This Black Friday ComScore reported $1.042 billion in online sales which is for the first time in the year. The all new survey report also indicates in all 57.3 million visitors decided to buy products and services online and that is an increase of 18% compared to the number of online visitors in the previous year. The best category that saw lot of sales is digital content and subscriptions and toys. Amazon.com said that consumers today are very particular about what they want and therefore they go for digital content.
