Wow - am I happy! :) I went a couple times to a hair dresser to get my hair a certain color and cut, and it just wasn't happening. I wasn't sure if it was me, and I wasn't communicating right, and gave the hair dresser a few times, and realized it was time to move on and find someone who would pay better attention and get my hair done to what I was asking for. Then Empire Beauty College popped into my head. I had gone here like 15 years ago, and remembered that I had a good experience, just that I would need patience as I recalled it took twice the amount of time of a salon. I booked my appointment and wow wow wow am I happy! The one appointment got my hair color the way I had been wanting it for years. The haircut is the BEST cut I have had in so long. The student was very skilled, and paid very close attention to my hair and what she was doing. The teachers were super helpful in guiding her as needed, and checking to make sure she was on point, and asking me if I liked what they were doing. It took about 5 hours for hair color, cut, shampoo/conditioner, blow dry and style...and it was worth the time.. and the service was only $65 total! It would have cost probably $250 at a salon, which I would never pay for. I am so grateful this place exists as it's so fun to watch the students work on their craft, and support the students and school and feel supported with great hair in return! :)

The young ladies who did my shampoo and my back treatment were sweet and kind. All the staff were very loving. I felt nurtured.
