Santa Ana, California was founded in 1869 and is home to 353,184 residents and the Mission of San Juan Capistrano, one of the oldest in the state. The city, the local mountain range and the winds that drive Californians crazy every year are all named Santa Ana. What the residents all share is marvelous weather. The winter months bring daytime temperatures from the 60s to 70s Fahrenheit and during summer, the average temperatures range in the mid 80s.
Shoring up the economic infrastructure of the city are the California State University, Whittier Law School, University of California-Irvine, Chapman University and several other schools of higher learning. While there are several colleges and universities located outside of Santa Ana, the students, staff and educators come to the city’s shopping malls, entertainment venues and enjoy the general city hospitality.
