When the company is not doing good it’s time to rethink the business strategy and that is exactly what the StumbleUpon is doing now since they have not been able to impress the customers all over the world. Earlier the company would focus on discovering various internet sites that would suggest various online stories and content to the users based on their interested and hobbies. However, the company has now decided that they would change their business strategies to have better business growth. The company said that they have not been performing well financially and they have already taken $17 million in Series B funding in 2011 that would help them to work on their new plans.

The company said that in the future the company would focus on integrating brand advertisements and social media into the site.  The company is based in San Francisco and they have been providing better content to the people around the world. However, now they will also combine organic and sponsored websites into one content that would allow brands and publications to provide their contents to the customers. The company feels that they would provide the new brands to various stumblers across the world and they can decide if they are interested in the content or not. The company said that they are fortunate that they still have investors that are ready to invest in their new brand strategies.
