Electric Cars Storm San Francisco

The auto industry is always steady in San Francisco market but the trends keep changing all the time. As per the recent report provided by various auto related research companies the trend of electric cars have storm the city. The report indicates that more and more consumers in San Francisco are now looking for electric vehicles that can allow them to save more on fuel. The report believes that majority of the car buyers in the city believe that they can save lot of money if they can switch to electric vehicles and therefore they prefer buying plug-in vehicles and electric vehicles.

San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee said that this is a good sign that majority of the buyers are now concerned about the environment and therefore they are going for electric cars that can allow them to save environment and money at the same time. He said that they would like to be the first city in the nation that would turn to electric vehicles completely so that they do not have to bother much about the rising fuel prices that can affect the budget. At the moment, San Francisco is the third city in the ranks behind Los Angeles and New York in terms of buying electric vehicles but the trend can change the ranks in the future.
