San Antonio is home town to Taco Cabana and it was in this city that the company opened up their first store in 1978. However, the company has now made an announcement that they will be opening up their new store in San Antonio soon. The company announced that San Antonio is their home town and therefore they would like to come up with a new store in the same city where they started their business. Currently, Taco Cabana has 41 stores in San Antonio and they are going to open their next store in Alamo City at Interstate Highway 10 and Ralph Fair Road far from Northwest Side.

Taco Cabana said that they will be looking for a new restaurant location at I-10 that will help them grow their business in San Antonio. The company said that this location is the fastest growing submarkets in the city and therefore they are keen to get their new restaurant location on the I-10 corridor. On the other hand the company said that their new Ralph Fair Road store will have relaxed patio vibe with better theme that will allow the customers to relax when they want to take a quick break. The company also said that they are thinking about remodeling all their 41 stores in the city. Taco Cabana said that the remodeling project will take them more than a year.
