Hobby Lobby Increases Pay for Workers

Hobby Lobby Stores Inc has always been one of the popular stores in San Antonio and now the company has announced that they are going to increase the pay for all their full time and part time employees. The company said that minimum wage for $13 per hour for full time employees and $9 for part time employees. The company said that they have decided to increase the wages for all the five stores in San Antonio.

Hobby Lobby Stores Inc said that they pay increase decision will affect all the 15,300 employees that are currently working across all their five stores. David Green, CEO and Founder of Hobby Lobby Stores said that employees are really important for them and therefore they need to take care of. The CEO said that employees work hard to ensure that the company grows and therefore they deserve to be recognized. He also said that the company believes in serving their customers but also their employees because it is their efforts that bring in more customers. The company also said that this is the fourth consecutive year where the company have raised the hourly pay wage. It was also announced that the current pay rates of the company is 80% above the national rate which is $7.25 per hour.
