World Wide Technology Wins Navy Contracts

Saint Louis based World Wide Technology has announced that they have won two Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic contracts that were provided to them by the US Navy. The contracts would allow them to provide equipment to the US government. The company said that with these two contracts they will have a combined potential value of $1 billion over five years. The contracts state that World Wide Technology will provide commercial equipments to the US DoD and various other US federal civilian agencies that coordinate and work with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. World Wide Technology will also provide communication products to the US government.

World Wide Technology is a system integration company that has provided various technology and supply chain solutions to commercial companies, government agencies and telecom sector organizations in the past. The company holds sixth place in the list of top 150 privately held companies. The company currently holds 1,800 people and has 20 facilities around the world. The company has total revenue worth more than $4.1 billion making it one of the largest African-American owned companies in the United States. World Wide Technology CEO, Jim Kavanaugh said that he is really happy that the company has grabbed two contracts for the US Navy which will boost the revenue and market reputation of the company.
