Saint Louis based Ralcorp Holdings Inc has announced that they have acquired Petri Baking Products Inc which is a leading producer of private brand wire cut cookies. Ralcorp Holdings Inc currently produces various food products that are sold under various labels in groceries, mass merchandise and drugstore retailers. The company said that they would not like to discuss more about the deal but they have confirmed that the deal is through. Sharing more about the deal Ralcorp Holdings Inc CEO, Kevin Hunt said that Petri Baking Products management team and employees are welcome to the Ralcorp family.

Ralcorp Holdings also said that the deal will help them to diversify their products in the future. The company announced that Petri Baking Products are popular for manufacturing and distributing complete line of high quality cookies that taste and look like homemade cookies. Ralcorp Holdings said that the company has a unique way to manufacture these cookies that allows the cookies to be in different style and crunchy as well. Petri Baking Products Inc is currently based in Silver Creek, New York and has more than 240 workers. Once the deal is complete Petri Baking Products Inc will operate as part of Ralcorp’s Snacks, Sauces and Spreads Division.
