Insurance is a subjective matter and therefore there are many opinions to it. Although, MEM has remained the single law that dominates the state many lawmakers in the state now feel that they need to make some changes to the 1993 law that they have made. The Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance Co have been in the news lately because many lawmakers feel that the old law has not been helping the state and the government to get better revenues through taxes and other financial ways.

However, some insurance agents feel that the lawmakers are taking the wrong decisions and that they will only mess up the 1993 law that they have made in MEM. On Monday, the House Committee was called in that talked about whether changes should be made to the company that will help the state to get better revenues. However many insurance agents claim that the changes that are going to be implemented will only make it worse. The agents said that the Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance Company has always helped the small businesses in the 1990s to come up in the market and therefore the lawmakers should take that into consideration. They also said that the company actually provides better insurance rates and customer service to the small businesses.
