The Saint Louis based pharmacy company Express Scripts have always been in the news for the kind of business transactions they handle and for the products that they launch in the market. the company has now announced that they have come up with an innovative technology that can predict when patients will stop taking their prescriptions. This is for the first time that such technology has been brought to the market and Express Scripts believes that this will provide good information to various hospitals and doctors to know how their patients are behaving and when they are likely to get rid of the prescriptions.

The company said that over a period of time patients get fed up of the prescription pills that have to consume and therefore they start to avoid it. With this technology doctors and physicians can take control and check information on when the patients will stop taking their prescriptions. The entire technology works on various predictive models and there are more than 400 variables that the users can adjust to understand if the patient is really having the prescriptions or not. The company said that they have spent more than $317 billion on this and they believe that this will be an innovative approach to save the medical expenditure.
