The market for real estate has really shifted since December 2007 when the country started going into a recession. The market has been making a stronger shift towards higher price levels and more housing sales due to the government’s effort to assist people in buying their first home. Although it is now harder to purchase real estate due to stricter guidelines in the mortgage industry, people have been more willing to shop and buy real estate due to government incentives and low interest rates.
