Pacific Foods of Oregon, Inc needs more space, apparently. And they've leased room in the old Nike warehouse based in Wilsonville, taking up more than half of the building.

The warehouse has been empty since 2009 when Nike moved some functions over to Memphis, Tennessee. The warehouse is 508,277 square feet and Pacific Foods has leased 302,765 square feet of it. Their new location will be at 27255 S.W. 95^th Avenue.

The move should be completed by September 1. When Nike left, it created a significant industrial hole in the area, with more than a million square feet of industrial warehouses and buildings left vacant. Following Nike, Hollywood Entertainment and Joe's Sporting Goods left as well.

Prior to the Pacific Foods move, SoloPower was going to move into the old Nike warehouse, but it gave up on the plan when residents refused to approve incentives for the solar panel company.
