1 star because I had to give him something in order to write a review. We had an appointment set with him for 1:00 Tuesday to install a hot water heater. It is now 1:30 Wednesday. No show. No call. I called him at 6 the evening of the appointment and again this morning. Left messages. No return calls. If I was you, don't waste your time on thus guy.

John came out promptly, took care of our problem, and is very knowledgeable and courteous. We’ve used him in the past, and we will continue to use his services. We are very happy with his work. Thank you John. Also, his prices are extremely reasonable.

John came out promptly and did work on an investment property for us. After his work was completed we paid him and then had the city inspection. Unfortunately, there were a few things left to do and the inspection failed. We called John and told him about it (and the $50 fine) and he said said, "okay I'll be out tomorrow." He did not show up that day and has not returned a phone call to us since the day before (this was almost two weeks ago now). I hope he is okay and not injured or dead. It is certainly odd that we just can't reach him now. If he is okay, it is a bummer that he has left us in a major bind and put us two weeks behind on our schedule with the winter weather upon us. We will be finding someone else to finish the work left undone by John's Plumbing. If you do go with him, perhaps wait to pay him until after any needed inspections. UPDATE: The next day after this review we did get a hold of John. He came out and fixed the things that didn't pass. One item he had to redo because over the weeks we didn't hear from him we had to move the water heater. When he left that day he said he would go into City Hall the next day and have them do the inspection and pay the fine for failing the first one. He also still had to do the pressure test. We called the city the next day and he had not gotten it done. After waiting two more business days we were finally able to get a hold of him and he said that we could either pay him for the work of redoing the water heater or pay the fine. So we just paid the fine and got the inspection ourselves. The pressure test didn't hold! So we will try to reconcile it ourselves I suppose. We need this done!
