Marina View Project Revived With Cuts

By: Brenda Stokes on Monday, May 14, 20120 Comments

The Marina View project might just be back on after it was put on hold in 2005. The project is backed by developer Lou Cicalese and will be a generally smaller version of the original project vision.

The new version of the project will sit along the Delaware River and would consist of one 14-story apartment building. It will feature a garage beneath it, some retail space, and contain 180 units in total. It's set to be located at 230 N. Christopher Columbus Blvd and will cost $60 million to build.

Also involved in the project is Ensemble Investments and BLT of Philadelphia as the architect. Greystar will serve as the property management company.

The new version of the Marina View project will fall in line with other developments that have popped up in the interim like the Race Street Pier.

When the project was initially proposed, it was slated to cost $450 million and would include three very large residential buildings and 600 condominiums.
