Retail Jobs Falling in Orlando

There is no doubt that retail sector is the strongest in Orlando when it comes to Florida state, but as per the recent information provided by On Numbers Orlando is certainly not sitting on top of the retail sector at the moment. As per the information provided by On Numbers Orlando has lost more than 1600 retail jobs because the companies have decided to move somewhere else. The survey report clearly indicated that from 2008 to 2012 the city has lost more than 1600 retail jobs and many people who have lost their jobs have moved on to various cities or to another sectors.

When ranked in retail jobs, Orlando ranks number 32 out of the 100 cities that have been taken in the survey. Orlando has been losing more and more retail jobs now because many of the companies now believe that there are better locations where they can find better options and more customers. New York City is the biggest competitor for Orlando at the moment because as per the survey most of the jobs from Orlando have now moved to New York City mainly because there are more people there in the city. Along with Orlando, Los Angeles, Chicago and Phoenix have also lost many retail jobs in respective cities.
