Orlando is known for attracting more visitors especially during summers when more people come here for spending time with their family and friends. However, in recent time Orlando drive-throughs are gaining more sales than regular restaurants which indicate that more people are interested in eating their meals and snacks in the vehicles or at home rather than being at the fast food restaurant. As per the information provided by USA Today drive-throughs are becoming popular in Orlando where families come together to enjoy better time.

The rise of drive-throughs has forced many new entrepreneurs to come up with their own designer drive-throughs that can impress the customers. On the other hand, it is challenging the conventional hotel industry experience where people would sit in the fast food restaurants and coffee shops to have good time with their loved ones. As per USA Today report, drive through sales has gone up 3% in the year 2011 which indicates that drive-throughs are on the positive growth track. NPD Group that did the same research in 2010 said that the rise of drive-throughs in Orlando was 2% at that time. It is also said that Panera Bread is among the first to come up with drive-through in Orlando and they have seen success in this trend.
