Recently, many companies are trying to restructure their companies and staff because they want to make sure that they have the right people working at the right positions. Now, Darden Restaurants have announced that they are restructuring their staff at their headquarters in Orlando. The company said that during the restructuring process they will have to eliminate some jobs that are no longer required and they will add some new positions that can help the company to be more productive. The company said that they have to take this step to ensure that they grow in the future.

The Orlando based company already owns restaurant chains like Red Lobster, Olive Garden and Longhorn Steakhouse. The company already announced about the restructuring plans to their employees. The company has already let go three of their employees this week and they said that they might have to let go many others that are not required as per the restructuring process. Darden Restaurants have said that they will be changing more than 75 jobs but they will also add 35 new jobs. They will be restructuring finance, human resource, mailroom, supply chain and building services department. Darden Restaurants claim that once they have restructured the corporate office they will be able to make more profit this year.
