There are times when the economy of the city is very different from the actual situation in the city. Bank of America which is a Charlotte based bank has done a survey in many states around the United States and they have found that Miami city entrepreneurs are ready to hire more professionals this year. Although, the economy of Miami is not doing great except in the construction and transportation sector but still many of the small business owners feel that they are doing very well and that they can afford to hire more people to expand their business. The survey done by the bank says that 25% of the entrepreneurs and small business firms in Miami city would like to hire more staff in the next 12 months because they want to grow their business.

The bank said that while doing the survey they questioned more than 300 small business owners in the city. Most of the companies have revenue from $1 million to $5 million. The bank also said that they have covered more cities across America like Los Angeles, Dallas, New York City, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco and Atlanta. During the survey, Bank of America covered Miami Dade, Broward, Monroe, Collier, and Hendry counties. The survey also showed that Miami small business owners are not too optimistic about the future market trends but majority of them would still go ahead and hire more professionals. In the survey it was found that more than 50% of the Miami small business owners expect revenue growth this year which is obviously very low score compared to nation’s average which is 61% overall.
