Many experts believe that after the 2008 recession that hit America, Miami and various locations in South Florida saw drop in employment rates. It was obvious that poor business led to rising unemployment rates. However, the trend has reversed lately and Miami business establishments are growing now. Miami has definitely seen some positive trends since 2010 and many small business companies here have seen that consumers are returning back to provide them with better sales figures. Although, some experts believe that the trend went weak during 2011 but once again small establishments have seen positive first quarter for the year 2012.

As per the Bureau of Labor in the US, there has been more employment in Miami and the locations surrounding it which is a good sign of development. On the other hand, there are many business development conventions and events happening in Miami that boost the morale of the small business owners that would like to bring out some better business ideas and positivity in the business environment. There are free workshops that allow small business owners to open their own establishments and make the most of the creativity and talent that they have. So far, the real estate sector and transportation sector are flourishing because of international buyers that are investing their money.
