We had unpaid tax debt from the state of New York due to a failed real estate joint venture that happened in 2006. I had moved to Florida in 2007 and didn't know that the state of NY will hunt you down. The state obtained a judgment against me in the amount of $230K and I assumed that the only option to get out of this would be bankruptcy. However, the consultant @ K&K explained us that we could go for a NY OIC settlement. It took about 10 months but it feels good to know that the settlement was for about 7K.

Their lawyer is very nice to work with. Successfully litigated a corporate tax matter. Also, they have a flat fee structure which was very convenient for us to manage.
