A new CityTarget is slated to open up in Los Angeles, according to a new announcement. The new store will open in March of next year and is set to be a smaller format store than the standard big-box store.

The CityTarget will be located on the second floor of the Beverly Connection, utilizing 99,000-square feet of space. Even better, the new store will bring 200 jobs to the Los Angeles area, according to a Target press release.
If you've been keeping abreast of Target-related news, you'll know that this is the third such store planned for the L.A. area. The first one is set to open up in July of this year at the Westwood Market Place. The second will open in October and is located in downtown L.A.
Target as a whole has 58 stores in the Los Angeles area at the moment, but these CityTarget stores are designed to fit in with the city life. They are smaller and cater to the demographics found in big cities.
Also on the agenda for Target is opening up new CityTarget locations in Seattle, Chicago, Portland, and San Francisco.
