Saks Inc. is gearing up to open an outlet store in Las Vegas, right in the heart of downtown, in 2015.

The Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5^th will be located at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets North location, which is owned by Simon Property Group Inc. The outlet will offer off-price luxury items like shoes, clothing, and accessories. It's intended for upscale customers that still have an eye on the price tag.

This is just one new store that Saks will be opening. In fact, this Las Vegas location is just one of seven that will open in Simon outlet malls all across the country.

There is a Saks outlet located in Vegas already at the Las Vegas Outlet Center Annex on 7680 Las Vegas Blvd. There is also a full Saks Fifth Avenue in the Fashion Show Mall on the Strip. It's not clear if these stores will be in direct competition with each other or not.
