Things to do in Honolulu
Honolulu is the capital of Hawaii. It has about 371,000 people. Since it is part of an island, getting around the island can be sometimes tough, but luckily there is a great bus system in Honolulu. In fact, it has been named "America's Best Public Transit System" for four different years.

Honolulu has a lot of cultural destinations, such as a symphony, an opera, and a theatre. Their symphony is the oldest US symphony west of the Rocky Mountains. The Honolulu Academy of Arts has a large collection of Asian, Western and Islamic art.

Located in the city of Honolulu is an aquarium, a zoo and botanical gardens. There are many great beaches to surf, swim and sunbathe on. Because Honolulu has such a warm and pleasant climate, many people participate in some kind of sports activity. Due to this, Honolulu was named in 2004 "The Fittest City in America." One such athletic activity is the "Aloha Run," held every year on Presidents' Day.

If you're looking for beach front activities that you can do all year long, Honolulu just might be your place. You can find more information about Honolulu by looking at the yellow pages online, or by looking at a Hawaii state business directory.
