What is ChamberofCommerce.com?
ChamberofCommerce.com is an online business directory that offers small business

Is ChamberofCommerce.com associated with my local chamber?
We have relationships with several thousand local chambers of commerce. ChamberofCommerce.com,
like your local chamber of commerce, is a pro-business organization that helps small
businesses connect with potential customers. In addition, we provide solutions
for small businesses who want to grow their business on the web.
How do I find a business in my local area?
You can search in a variety of ways. By selecting Find a Business from the
top menu, you can search for a type of business or an individual business name in
your local area. Also, you can manually browse our business directory by either
selecting the city and state and then narrowing it down by category, or selecting
the category and then narrowing it down by city and state.
How do I find a local Chamber of Commerce?
You can browse our listings of local chambers of commerce by selecting Find a Chamber
from the top menu. You may then narrow your search by the particular city
and state you are looking for.

What is my Online Reputation?
Your Online Reputation is how a potential customer sees you. Many businesses,
if they are online, are not in the most prime locations to be viewed by their potential
customers. The placement of this listing is of the utmost importance, because
most potential customers will not go past the second or third listing. If
they happen to click on your listing, they will view it by the depth of the information
found, and what ratings and reviews are located on the business profile.
Can I manage my Online Reputation by myself?
Managing your Online Reputation by yourself is a very time-consuming process.
Many directories that you need to be listed on require multiple steps to have a
complete business listing that can take hours of your time. Also, scouring
these directories to see the ratings and reviews that others have posted about you
can take an egregious amount of time.
We take this hassle away from you and give you one click access to your entire Online
Reputation. Although we do not recommend taking this daunting task on by yourself,
for those that wish to, we offer a free report to every business that adds themselves
to ChamberofCommerce.com.
I've been burned before by other companies claiming to do this, what makes you different?
Unlike other services, we do not “spam” your information. Many other services
simply throw all of your information at a wall, and hope some of it sticks.
We take time to understand your business, and list it in the most appropriate directories
for your category and area. Because the time has been taken to build out your
profile completely on these directories, your listing on these directories has a
very good possibility of showing up on the top of Google search result for locally
searched keywords.
Does ChamberList require a long-term commitment?
Chamberlist is a month-to-month service. Although you may cancel at anytime,
we ask that you give the solution at least 90 days to take effect, as directories
can take anywhere from 24 hrs to 60 days for a listing to go live. Also, Google
and the other popular search engines only re-order their links on a periodic basis.
If I sign up for a Premium Membership, where am I listed on ChamberofCommerce.com?
With a Premium Membership, your business will be listed at the top of the directory
for your city and business category on a first-come/first-serve basis with other
Premium Members. All Premium Members are listed above basic free listings.
I just want my business/website to show up on the top of search engines.
Having your business show up on the top of search engines is a time-consuming task.
A great way to speed up your ranking is through link building. The more reputable
sites you have pointing toward your website, the better the search engines rank
you. All the online directories we list you on will provide you with a high-quality
link to your website that will enhance your current SEO strategy. Your premium
listing on ChamberofCommerce.com will provide many valuable links to your website.
In addition, your website can only show up on the top of search engines for a limited
amount of keywords. By having a full business profile with the correct keywords
in it across many different directories, you are increasing your chances of multiple
keywords producing your listings or website as one of the top links.
I'm already advertising on some of these directories, why would I need your service?
Showing up as the sponsored link on all of the relevant directories you should be
listed on can cost hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars a month. With ChamberList,
you will show up right below the sponsored links, and in some circumstances receive
more clicks than the sponsored links. Directories look positively on those
businesses that have complete profile information that is the same across the internet,
and give preferential treatment to those businesses.

How do I claim my listing?
If you have a business listing in ChamberofCommerce.com and have not yet claimed
it, claiming it is simple. When you are on your business profile page, simply
click on “Claim This Business” below the map of your business location. If
you are not able to find your business, go to our
Add Your Business page.
How do I add my business to ChamberofCommerce.com?
If you do not currently have a listing on ChamberofCommerce.com, or are unsure,
go to our Add Your Business
page.
An ad on Google brought me to your site, how do you have my business information?
Data services provide business information to many online business directories like
ChamberofCommerce.com. These listings receive the lowest priority until they
are claimed. To claim your listing, see How do I claim my listing?
How do I remove a listing from ChamberofCommerce.com?
If you would like for us to remove a listing from ChamberofCommerce.com, please
visit our Contact Form. Please note that we will need a direct link to the
business profile in question in order to move forward with this request.
I can't find my listing when I search through ChamberofCommerce.com.
If you are unable to find your listing when searching on ChamberofCommerce.com,
please ask yourself the following questions:
Have I verified my listing?
· If no, please note you received
a verification email when you first signed up for ChamberofCommerce.com. If
you would like this email re-sent to you, you may do so by logging into Your Business
Center and re-sending this email.
Am I searching using keywords found in my profile?
· If you are not, then please add
in those keywords to your Chamber profile. Please note that not all areas
of the Chamber profile will pick up your keywords in our search. This is a
security precaution to prevent spamming or keywords stuffing of profiles.
How do I login to my account?
Simply select “Sign In” in the top right of any page. From there, input your
user name and password and you will be able to both view your business profile,
and update any information in it.

How do I find my username and password?
When you claimed your business on ChamberofCommerce.com, or added it to one of our
partner sites, you should have received a welcome e-mail with your user name and
password in it. If you never received this e-mail, or misplaced it, go to
www.chamberofcommerce.com/login/
and select “Forgot Password”.
How do I change my city?
· Go to
www.ChamberofCommerce.com
· Select “Sign In” in the upper
right
· Type in your Username and Password
· Select “Edit Profile”
· Select “Request Change of City/Category”
on the bottom
· Select new city from the drop-down
menu on the pop-up
· Select “Request Change”
How do I change my category?

Understand that changing your category will affect your Online Reputation score.

What additional information can I place on my profile?
After you have logged in to your account select “Edit Profile”. In the left-hand
toolbar, select “Detailed Info”. On this page you may place a business description,
select product, services, brand and specialty keyword. If you place additional
keywords in the open fields, separate each keyword by a comma and capitalize the
first letter of each word.
Under the “Additional Info” tab, there are options to place information about: your
company slogan, payment modes, credit cards accepted, hours of operation, certifications,
professional associations, languages spoken, year founded, amenities and special
considerations.
In addition, in the left-hand toolbar, by selecting “Key Contacts” you will be able
to place multiple contacts with their information on your business profile.

If you have signed up for a Gold or Platinum package, please populate as many fields
as possible with relevant information.
I only have one location, but I service multiple cities, what do I do?
· Go to
www.ChamberofCommerce.com
· Select “Sign In” in the upper right
· Type in your Username and Password
· Select “Edit Profile”
· Select Detailed Info from the menu
on the left-hand side
· In the About Your Business open
field, place the cities you also service in an organic manner
o Do not simply list them at the end.
o Place them fluidly in a sentence
o The best place is in the middle of your description
· Select “Save Changes” from the
bottom right
How do I change the information in my profile?
In your ChamberofCommerce.com business profile you are able to change any information
except for your city, state, username or password. To change this information:
o Go to www.ChamberofCommerce.com
o Select “Sign In” in the upper right
o Type in your Username and Password
o Select “Edit Profile”
o Type the correct information into the fields containing the incorrect
information
o Select “Save Changes” in the bottom right after each change
If you have not yet claimed your listing, you may claim it by selecting “Claim This
Business” below the map on your profile page. Once you have claimed it, you
may update your information.

Here you will be able to view how a potential customer will view the information
you have presented. If any of the information in this view is incorrect, select
the “Back” button on your internet browser. On this page, select “Edit Profile”.

How do I view my free report?

The graph shows your online presence progression over time. If you have a
free listing, this graph will never change and you cannot track your progress.
We offer ChamberList to those businesses that wish to increase their Online Reputation.
Below the graph is a history of your reports. By selecting the “View” button
next to each report, you will be able to view the report in detail.

I lost my badge, how do I receive a new one?
If you have lost your badge, visit our
Contact Form and request a new one.

My business has been claimed, but I never claimed it.
There are data services who may claim your listing without your knowing. If
you would like to dispute this claim, simply select the “Is This Business Yours”
link below the map on your business profile, select “Dispute” and send in the contact
form.
In order to change the information and receive a username and password to login
to your profile, you will need to call from the phone number that is to be listed
on your profile and fax us with your company letterhead.
How do I change my password?

How do I track my directory submissions?
Every month, you will be e-mailed an up-to-date report along with the names of the
specific directories you have been submitted to.
I'm not seeing results.
Although we do not require a contract, we highly suggest giving our solution at
least 90 days to take effect before making an assessment of its impact. This
is because of different directory's verification times. It can take anywhere
from 24 hours to 60 days for listings to go live. Every month we select the
best assortment of directories for you based upon relevance, verification time and
estimated impact.
How can I help in increasing my Online Reputation?
· Respond to any postcards or phone
calls that are directed to you regarding directory listings. An e-mail notification
will be sent to you alerting you to this.
· Solicit ratings and reviews for
the directories you are currently listed on, and have the correct information.
· Make sure all information in your
Chamber of Commerce business profile is complete and accurate. If you are
unsure of how to login to your account and change your information, take the following
steps:
o Go to www.ChamberofCommerce.com
o Select “Sign In” in the upper right
o Type in your Username and Password
o Select “Edit Profile”
o Type the correct information into the fields containing the incorrect
information
o Select “Save Changes” in the bottom right after each change

All submissions made by ChamberofCommerce.com use the information provided in your
Chamber of Commerce business profile. If this information is incorrect, please
login to your Chamber of Commerce business profile and correct the information.
You can do this by:

We submit you to all of the relevant directories before correcting any changed information.

If I cancel, what happens to the listings you've created for me?
If you decide to cancel, and manage your Online Reputation by yourself, all of the
usernames and passwords will be e-mailed to you. The listings we have created
for you will stay up and running and you will be able to manage them by yourself.
