Not sure where to start. These gentleman need to find a new job or simply retire! They are extremely RUDE to everyone, specially non English speaking people! I was there for around an hour and experienced multiple scenarios of them being extremely disrespectful. They should simply retire and allow new members come in. If they hate being there, that's ok but at least be respectful to the Elderly!!!

This review is for the Sandy Creek P.O. which handles more customers than any other post office in the U.S. I have been fighting an issue with this location for 20 years as is attested to by the many one star reviews here. About the time I moved into 79938, the service window for non-monetary transactions was moved from the front (next to the service counter) to the back. I was told, the long lines were on camera were visible to the main office. Whether that was the case is irrelevant. The average wait to pick up a parcel, in my experience, is about half an hour. Having spent nearly 60 years in the service either as a soldier or the son of a soldier, I have lived all over the country and all over the world. When I say this location is the worst for picking up a package/picking up keys/changing address... I have some experience. But, even in several other P.O. locations in El Paso that I have done business with, I have never seen more than 3 people waiting in line. BTW, the line to take your money at Sandy Creek is nearly always short with practically no wait time. Always 2 or 3 clerks ready to take your money. The line at the back, however, is manned (except for a few occasions) by 1 person. I have attempted to avoid the line by going in the morning, just before or after lunch, and in the afternoon. I have tried Monday through Friday. It doesn't matter. 79938 serves 1000's of rural customers who drive up to 5 miles to collect their mail at clusters of boxes with 400 to 600 mail boxes. that have a woefully inadequate number of parcel receptacles. The P.O. is addressing that issue, but the long line to pick up packages at Sandy Creek continues. I have brought up the line with a number of managers at Sandy Creek. One of them told me he was going to retire and open up a parcel handling service in Montana Vista to address the issue. I have also addressed the issue with an EP Postmaster who sympathized, but alas, the P.O. has no money to fix the issue. I have also talked with the P.O. regional headquarters in San Antonio and filed a complaint with the national office that concluded there was no problem. Just the other day I drove 16 miles to the post office to wait in line (about 20 people) 45 minutes to pick up some keys. The one and only person working the window was quick, courteous, and had been working over 6 hours and through lunch without a break. Four people were manning the "take your money" counter with 3 people in line. Apparently the back window is out of sight, out of mind. Either that or the management at Sandy Creek is either incompetent or just doesn't care.

They were very kind, they helped me fill out the form for my daughter's passport, they were patient and empathetic. They saw me before my appointment time and answered all my questions. Thank you!

I wonder what is going on with post office now days. I deal with billing daily and we get a lot of returned mail from several locations in EL Paso, TX. Patients confirm that is the right address.

They do not follow the government website information regarding walk ins. They did not accept us although we went there during scheduled walk in times. The person in charge was very rude
