My husband and I walked into Calico today in hopes of finding some fabric to recover some chairs. When we walked in, there was one other person checking out and was gone 5 minutes later. Not one person acknowledged our presence, said welcome in, or even hello. Didn't even meet eye contact. There were three people on the floor and one in the back and we were the ONLY people in the store. We stayed looking at many different fabric options and not once did anyone offer help. Eventually after 30 minutes, I didn't feel they cared about our business at all. We put everything back up in its place and started to walk out the door. Only then did someone say, "can we help you?" I have been to this store many times over the years and this isn't the first time I have felt this. I have also ordered several times from them when I did have someone help. But its miss mostly, with a hit rarely. Not worth it to me.

They are following covid rules and it was perfect to be the only one in the showroom. I was in a hurry and they made great suggestions and ordered samples sent to my home. I have shipped at Calico Corners for years and it has been one of my go to places. Excellent serve and qualified people.

I would not recommend this company for many reasons. They were not good about replying to emails and phone calls in a timely manner. They do not seem concerned about customer satisfaction at all. The designer who brought us samples initially would say she would drop off more samples and then wouldn't show up. She would also say that she would come back to pick up the samples she initially left with us, I would get them ready to be picked up and again, she wouldn't show up even though she said she lives only a few miles from our house. When we made the decision about what we wanted to have installed, it took them several weeks to get back to us about our purchase and installment. The person I spoke to at the installation company was rude and short with me. When the installer finally came to install what we purchased, it was not installed correctly. I called them to ask if he could come back and install it correctly and they said they would have the installation company make an appointment for him to come back and redo it. This was over 2 weeks ago and I have yet to hear anything from them. There was no apology for the service not being performed correctly. So, after paying $165 for the installation, I guess we will have to pay someone else to come to our house and do it correctly.
