As per the information available by Texas employers association American Airlines remains the top employer in Dallas and Fort Worth. The company said that although they have dropped some of the employees in their firm they still remained on the top which is a good thing. American Airlines said that they have always got better employees in Dallas and Fort Worth area and therefore they hire more workers from this city.

Currently, American Airlines have 24,700 employees, but last year things had changed for this airline company. The company went bankrupt and had to file for Chapter 11. Before this happened the company had 24,888 workers working in the company. However, the company still remained on the top by hiring more number of people. The second spot was taken by Bank of America that has hired more than 20,000 people in the Dallas and Fort Worth area. Both the companies have toppled some of the best companies that have their offices in Dallas and Fort Worth.
