7 Eleven Adds New Stores

Dallas based 7-Eleven has now made an announcement that the company is really doing good business and therefore they would add new 630 stores across the North America and Canada by the end of 2012. The company said that they are going to break the record that they had set last year. The company said that in the year 2011 they managed to open up 600 new stores in the United States and Canada and now they have more than 4600 stores worldwide. The company also said that they have been doing better business in the United States and Canada compare to any other countries and therefore they want to launch more stores in these two countries.

7-Eleven also said that 56% of the growth in the United States was due to their acquisitions in top states like New York, Illinois, Florida and Colorado. This year they have already bought5 Exxon Mobil stores in North Texas and 55 Sam’s Mart Stores in the Carolinas. Joe DePinto, President and CEO of 7-Eleven said that they have always focused on better growth strategies in the United States and they have accomplish that by adding new stores in better locations. By adding more stores in different locations they increase their efficiency and also improve the sales figure of the company. The company also said that they are looking for more acquisitions in Charlotte and Jacksonville that can help them grow their business further.
