Have nothing but great things to say about Avalon Properties, particularly, Shannon. Renting/signing was a breeze and a simple process. The few problems that have come up were dealt with promptly and in a professional manner by her. In one instance Shannon even drove out to the property with one of her maintenance men in a snowstorm to help with an issue. She's down to earth, easy to communicate with, and I've found her to be a good person.

Very dishonest. Gave Shannon 3 application fees and only two applications. She kept saying they hadn't received our credit/background checks, then, after 11 days, said the owner had decided NOT to rent. Shortly thereafter, TWO apartment complexes approved us, so I'm positive it wasn't our credit. They not only didn't return our two application fees, which should have been done as the owner chose to not rent the property out before receiving our reports, but also didn't return the unused third application fee. Steer clear of any property managed by this company. Believe me, no matter how desirable the property may be, dealing with a dishonest, unresponsive management company takes the shine off very quickly.
