KeyBank Tops SBA Large Lender of the Year

There is no doubt that small businesses need good amount of financial support and there are very few banks that provide better financial options to the small business community. The US Small Business Administration has now made an announcement that KeyBank is the top SBA Large 7A Lender of the Year. In the ceremony at the National Small Business Week, Karen Mills, SBA Secretary said that KeyBank gets SBA’s highest recognition for the kind of financial support that they have provided to small business community. She said that small businesses, lenders and investment banks have shown that together they can make a better business environment that can allow small businesses to grow.

Michael Toth, Senior Vice President and Business Banking Head for KeyBank said that the honor that they have received reflects the bank’s strong partnership with SBA and that they have always been committed to support smaller businesses that would like to grow in better business environment. He also said that SBA’s programs have helped the bank to support the economy even in volatile financial conditions. Small Business Administration said that the award was based on many factors including portfolio performance, annual growth in loan approval volume, lenders size, ongoing commitment and expansion of small businesses in the locality.
