Cleveland Clinic is definitely one of the best health care provider in the United States and also in Ohio. The clinic has now made an announcement that they have changed their food service contractor for Ohio and Florida locations. Cleveland Clinic said that they have selected Philadelphia based Aramark that will become the clinic’s food service provider from June 1. Currently, Cleveland Clinic has three food service providers but they are changing the food service provider for better food quality for the patients.

Heather Phillips, Director of Corporate Communications for Cleveland Clinic said that the clinic wanted to move on to one single food service provider rather than having three different food service providers. He said that the team responsible for checking out the food service providers for the clinic went through list of service providers. Aramark was a good option for the clinic because they have fresh foods that actually will help the patients. Cleveland Clinic has so far not revealed on how many employees from Aramark will work in the clinic, but the clinic is already looking for more people that they can find to help them with food options. Cleveland Clinic currently has nine hospitals and 18 health care family centers in Ohio and one hospital and medical center in Florida as well. Cleveland Clinic has also said that they would like to focus on their budget as well as they would like to cut down their food service provider expenditure so that they can focus on other facilities.
