Time Warner Opens Charlotte Data Center

Charlotte is soon becoming the breeding ground for many top companies and now Time Warner Cable has decided to unveil their new $82 million data center that will help them to grow in the city. The company said that they have been trying to invest in various businesses and the new data center will be operated directly by the company in the future. Time Warner believes that this is going to boost the overall business of the company and also bring in more jobs to the city in the future.

The company said that the new data center will be 178,000 square foot facility which is built on the 90 acre campus off Arrowood Road. The company also said that they have also come up with the second building which is 103,500 square foot for administrative purpose. The company said that they have already hired more than 225 jobs in the city and they will start hiring more when they believe that they are progressing in the right direction. Jim Ludington, Executive Vice President of National Network Operations for Time Warner said that the company has thought for a long time on where the national data center should be and they found the Charlotte is the best destination. The company feels that they will be able to expand their data center services from Charlotte.
