Avoid this dog track at all costs. We were in VT for a golf trip with two foursomes and regretted every second we were on this course. To start, the guy working in the pro shop was not welcoming at all. He very gleefully told us it was cart path only and that if we set off the automatic shut down on the cart three times they would throw us out. Thanks buddy. The course itself was awful. Just an obvious money grab for people in the area. The layout was one of the worst I've ever seen for this style of golf, and the greens would punish both good approach shots and good putts. The drink prices were also insane. I just couldn't get over how much they were charging for what they were offering, it did not add up. Do yourself a favor, drive 10 minutes further down the road to Green Mountain National and play a real and gorgeous VT golf course. Killington Golf Course is a complete joke.

I love this Mountain Course, lots of elevation up and down. Awesome views of the green mountains. and fairways that make you think about fall lines and topography a little more than bunkers and streams. As for conditions, this is one of the worst years in New England for rain. We have had whole cities devastated, the capital to be one of them with flooding and landslides destroying generational businesses and dwellings. It's been cart path only a lot to keep the greens. They do a great job to take care of this course in the mountains. It's been a heat wave this week lets hope it dries up for fall foliage!

The worst golf course I've ever been to! If youre staying in killington, and play golf, I would avoid this place at all costs. They are criminal... On a day that I was attending a wedding at a nearby resort, about 40 of us had tee times to play the previous day. It called for rain that night, so I decided to call it in the morning. Instead of playing 18, I paid to play 9 holes, and upon paying, I asked if the course was still wet and playable, and was reassured that it had all dried off and I was good to go. The entire course is on the side of a mountain (not pretty like you might think), and has many gullies and hidden ruts (especially when it's underwater). These hidden traps in the already started ground are death traps. I am seasoned golfer, yet in the conditions, I slipped quite a few times, on one instance hurting my shoulder and another hurting my ankle pretty badly. Not to mention, my tan golf shoes and kaki pants were ruined. I lost 3 in play balls on 1.5 holes, bc the whole damn course was under, so I decided to go back and get a refund. The rain had picked up from a mist to a light downpour. I politely explained my case to the cashier, who said it wouldn't be an issue, she just needed her manager to put in some key code. However, he was not there. She kindly took a note down and my contact info. I tried back again the same day, around 5pm like I was instructed to. Everyone was gone, no phone call . The pro shop is supposed to be open until 6pm as posted, and as I was told. Clearly, they left early bc of the rain. This was over a month ago. I have called back several times and have been promised a call back each time with the reassurance of my refund. Today I called again for the 20th or so time without return, and finally the manager was there. He very rudely said that he would not refund, after at first lying and saying that he wasn't able to give refunds at all. After talking to him (Chris kennesin) for only a few minutes, I can tell what kind of operation they have over there. He snidely offered me a raincheck (pun intended I'm sure), full knowing that I live 8 hours away. Not really sure why he wouldn't just refund mind my 70 measley dollars. It's quite embarrassing on their behalf. The course should have shut down that day, but instead promised offers safe and dry conditions when there weren't. People were hurt, things muddied, and about 150 balls lost among us all. They prob have a good side business for that... The only reason they stayed open was bc they had reservations for so many people that day due to weddings. Irresponsible. The course is also garbage. For a Vermont course you would expect better par 5s. Really a shame.
