White Oak Dental Associates, LLC

I have been going to White Oak Dental Associates for years, but today will my last day. I was scheduled for a simple cleaning, but apparently the front desk doesnt know how to read last names and I sat down in the chair, and the dental assistant asked me if i was ready for my root canal. I told her i did not need a root canal and she had the wrong person. She INSISTED stubbornly that yes, i was that person. When I told her to check the last name, she said I could of been in the wrong office even though I have been coming there for years. And to top it off, i wasnt even on the schedule even though they verified the appointment 6 months prior. The front desk women are entitled and would never admit to their mistake. They wouldnt even see me that day to do my simple cleaning to rectify the situation. Ever since Dr Liu left, everything has went down hill. I will also be traveling the extra few miles to see Dr Liu. They almost gave me a ROOT CANAL I didnt need!!!!!!

Worst practice Ive ever been to and the most unprofessional group of healthcare workers Ive ever seen! Front and back girls, including the dentists! They dont like it when you advocate for yourself. Please go somewhere else.

I've been going to White Oak Dental my entire life. Until today, I had been treated respectfully and with care. Today, both the hygienist/tech and Dr. Owoc seemed to be in some kind of mood that deeply impacted their work. They did not seem to work well together (frequent miscommunications), barely communicated to me what I was to expect with my appointment, and roughly handled the metal implements while they were in my mouth. Several times, both Dr. Owoc and his assistant knocked their metal implements against my teeth, worked hastily, and struggled to give me appropriate instruction. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain/discomfort, but by the end of this appointment, I was speechless at how gruffly and impersonally I had been treated for a simple filling. I won't be going back to see if it was just a "bad day".

I just wanted to tell of our experience today. I know my family of 4 will NOT be returning again. It was my son's first time at the dentist and he has severe situational anxiety. I talked to him plenty and he seemed OK about the visit. Once called back, he had a total melt down. The hygenist and I both worked with him and we eventually got my son in the chair. Dr. Owoc came in the room, yelled at me AND my child saying "Get him out of here NOW! I have a business to run here and he is unacceptable with how he's acting. If he wants to be a baby, then send him to a baby dentist, I don't want him here though!" (My son is only 5 years old and I should also add the only other patient was my daughter getting her teeth cleaned and another person finishing up) Dr. Owoc looked right at me, threw his hands in the air, rolled his eyes at me and walked away. I stood up for my child and spoke my mind. Picked my son up out of that chair and we walked out. I have never felt so degraded by a Doctor in my life! We've already left the practice and won't be returning. Just wanted to share my experience today after going there for years. We'll travel the few extra minutes to see Dr.Liu from now on.
