I had a very good experience at Imaginears! Dr. Tangle is a warm person who wants to help those with hearing problems. She welcomes patients with a smile and takes the time needed to get to know them and their concerns about their hearing. She is highly professional and uses language that is easily understood by patients. I felt great about how she handled my hearing issues. I would recommend her to others.

Though my husband and daughter told me at 55 that I could not hear well, I was sure it was only the way they mumbled! I went to Elizabeth Tangel 10 years ago and she helped me recognize my hereditary hearing loss for what it was. She saw me frequently the first year to ease my transition in the use of hearing aids. Since then, the hearing in my left ear has declined over time. Each time, Elizabeth has assessed and remedied the deficit. Chris, the office manager, is always available to get more batteries, cones, or clean my hearing aids. Most of all, everyone at Imaginears genuinely cares about their patients. I would not go anywhere else.

My husband suffers from a severe hearing loss due to military service, and this problem has existed for 40+ years, increasing in severity. Although he received hearing aids from the VA, they were not programmed correctly and were just handed to him with the supposed assurance that they would work, "according to the computer." His hearing was so bad, even wearing the VA hearing aids, that I finally insisted that we find something else. After meeting with 4 other hearing aid providers in the Medford, OR area, it was abundantly clear that Dr. Tangel had both the expertise and the compassion with which to assist my husband. She did a VERY thorough hearing test (in contrast to other providers) and programmed a "demo pair" for him to try for 10 days. (None of the other providers even offered such a service). What an incredible difference! I didn't need to raise my voice anymore, particularly in the car where the road noise often drowned out my words. She programmed the demo pair so that they would compensate for tinnitis or noisy surroundings, among many other things which were particular to his needs. In addition, her prices were far better than the other providers we tried, saving us even more! To say the least, we couldn't be happier with her service and her staff.
