Lakeridge Middle School

mid school in general the food sucks there is raw meat in the chicken. They added a snack bar which is just a money grab not worth the 2 dollars for and 10 oz soda. When I have my phone out it gets taken away, but when girls have it out they say there doing a assignment when they are really just texting each other. It's a nice building teachers are nice all around pretty L school

Teachers are annoying... food is awful and could poison children..the meat has been raw and people have found stuff in it. Which is unhealthy for kids to be consuming things that could get them sick. Also the bathroom situation can be very uncomfortable and I would much rather prefer for there to be a specific girls and boys stall and special bathrooms for nonbinary people. ALSO I am unhappy about how all my classes seem to be spread around the school (not blaming anybody). Teachers give a lot of homework which pressures students and as we were learning about in science: Mental health can turn into physical health when there is to much stress.

Just a wonderful junior high!  We are on a second generation of family attending and we still love it!!!!  Right in line with the rest of the LOSD, LJHS is EXCELLENT!!!  You need have no worries about choosing this school to educate your students-- they will thrive!  Currently, Winter 2019, they are in the process of building an entirely new school on the same site.  This has been a carefully thought out process that has been executed flawlessly!  Stellar teachers, sports, arts, activities, safe neighborhood, etc, etc.  What is also wonderful is-- as a parent-- you are heard.  This school feeds into an equally tremendous school, Lakeridge HS.  Get ready for your child to create a lot of awesome memories!
