    Great, honest autowerk shop. Definitely the nicest auto shop I've ever been to. Honest, efficient, and prompt service. Dave was super nice and identified the problem quickly. I thoroughly recommend him for any problem with your volkswagon.

    David and his so called mechanic were incredibly unprofessional and tried to put me in a compromise position basically trying to manipulate my van out of me they lied about contacting jerry they lied about what my van needed. they are not the Old Volks Home of the years past. they had my van for four days I was in there three times I didnt see one wrench being used I didnt see them working on anyones vehicle. Im not sure what this is a business front for but it isnt a mechanic shop. when I calmly brought many things to his attention after hed had my vehicle for four days -he was full of excuses blame and then anger. Obviously his tactics did not work. my my van& i are safe from hm good central Oregon people did not let that happen the. I ran into another female that had a similar experience he didnt fix her vehicle either but he Took her out to lunch drink 6 beers talked about personal issues tried to manipulate her vehicle out of her so he could sell it. Said the part she needed was unavailable. did not keep the contract of fixing the vehicle she got herself and her vehicle away from him. she took her car to another mechanic he got the part immediately and it is being fixed. he appears to pray on women and vulnerable situations these are two separate experiences they were very negative.

    First and foremost, I have to thank David and his crew at Parnell Autowerks for selling me the coolest bus around. He was very honest throughout the entire process. He answered all of my questions, sent me pictures and videos to show that the van he was selling was spot on! I know that I have made a VW friend for life. Thunderdubb rolls on in Florida thanks to David and his crew!

I am sorry that you feel as though we didn't meet your expectations. However this is far from the truth. It is a shame that people have to create negative stories as well as state un true encounters bringing in personal information here on a review. But here we are and now I would like to share our side of the story. First and for most we strive to insure that all of our customers are treated fairly. When you brought your bus in after it was sitting for over 7 years under a tarp and you had explained to me that you would like for us to get it running we were happy to do so. You told us that you were on a tight budget so we were being very sensitive to how much work we could do with minimal cost on your part. After performing a general safety check on your bus we found that the cost was going to be very expensive to get your bus back up and running again safely. This included a complete break job, new fuel lines. Draining the tank because the gas had turned into turpentine. Making sure that all of your lights worked and your carburetor was in need of a rebuild. I called you and I did my best to explain to you that the cost to get the bus started was going to go way over your budget. I asked for you to come by the shop the next day and we could talk about it. When you arrived I had my mechanic explain to you the best way that he could about the condition of you bus. You were insistent that it didn't need any of the things that we suggested that needed to be done on the bus. You said that you had another mechanic in town that you knew who would work on the bus. We were 100% fine with that and we understood. There wasn't any anger involved whatsoever when we spoke. I did in fact call Jerry because he is a very close friend of mine and I wanted to know if he knew about your bus and if he remembered working on it in the past. He did and mentioned to me that we made the right choice in how we assessed your bus. I have always had deep respect for all of my clients and I was again very sensitive to your budget. Not everything happens the way we would like them to go. Your bus had sat for years and things wear out and go bad over time. I am not going to comment about this other customer that you mentioned in this review because I don't even know what you are talking about there. Just know that we are very sorry that you felt this way. We always strive to make sure that all of our customers are taken care of and our reputation in Bend is very important to us. I would invite you to look at all of the other reviews as an example. I didn't charge you for the 2 hours that we spent on your bus. I hope that you can find a mechanic that will take care of all your needs and expectations. We wish all the best.Sincerely,Parnell Autowerks
