I lived here for just over a year. PROS: Management was wonderful, highly professional, extremely responsive, and very knowledgeable. Maintenance was lighting fast and very friendly. The grounds are super pretty, and there's plenty of squirrels around. Plentiful visitor parking. CONS: The mildew/mold. Everyone I talked to complained about it. We would wipe it all off every window and window track in the apartment once a week and it would be back almost immediately. The ventilation is pretty bad, there was always condensation on the toilet resivoir no matter what we did. The only way to stop the condensation was open the windows, which is prohibitive in winter because of the cold and in spring/summer because of the pollen. Other than that, I loved living here.

I've lived here for many years and in general, it's a pleasant place to live, and the rent is lower than many surrounding places (I believe). The maintenance staff are great (quick, responsive, skilled) and overall I find the staff is able to resolve most issues that come up fairly quickly. However, don't rent here if you care about the hot tub. This is an amenity that is number one on my list when I choose an apartment complex. Unfortunately, the staff is not able to keep the hot tub/pool area unlocked during the posted usage hours. I would say that about 50% of the time that I go to use the jacuzzi, the fence is locked and I can't get in. I've pretty much quit using it for that reason. For years I have gone to the office to notify them of this, and for years their staff just told me "it should be unlocked"...and when I insisted that it isn't, they usually responded, "oh well it must be under maintenance". If I tell them that is not the case, they just argue with me. In the past few months I have gone several times and finally the staff/management quit arguing about it. They usually go unlock it on the spot and the last time the staff (assistant manager I think) just told me "I don't know what to tell you anymore" about it being locked. The problem is that if you go in the evening or on a holiday when the staff is not around, nobody can unlock it. They clearly just don't find it a priority to make sure that it's unlocked for residents. I have never seen this problem before in all of the apartment complexes I've lived in.
