Mark was helpful and knowledgeable in replacing a lock set on a door. Only hitch was he had procured a deadbolt lock with a double cylinder-a key latch instead of a thumb latch, so a key has to be used to unlock it from the inside. It would have been more trouble at the time to have had him go back and get a single cylinder lock, like the one being replaced, and then come back again later. Can't tell yet if this will result in a problem for us. --Update: A.H.S. did return to change out the lock for a more convenient and perhaps more durable deadbolt lock. Mark arrived on schedule and did a nice job sealing up a leak from our upstairs bathroom and fixing the water damaged ceiling. Mark went above and beyond by offering to install a new ceiling fan, making the bathroom better than before. I've had Mark out before for another job and appreciate the quality of his work and his professionalism. Shout out to Michelle as well. Always a pleasure to deal with. Reliable. The work quality was fine. My dissatisfaction comes from several areas. 1. Getting an estimate was nothing but a hassle, when I called after not receiving it after a few days I was told it would be there within two days. It was almost ten before I received it. The time estimate seemed incredibly high. 2. I understand that all supplies are going to have an upcharge and totally understand that. But I was charged $150 for what could not have need more than one pack of 2inch nails and 2 tubes of caulk. I went to home depot myself and bought the same material for $22. I have called and asked for an itemized receipt twice and both time I was told it would be sent. I have have yet to received an itemized list of what the repairman bought. Service: General repairs

Ace Handyman has completed several projects in my home including two bathroom remodels. The most recent project was the tear out/rebuild of two basement walls with shelving. The tear out was needed so another company could remediate a water leaking problem. A sump pump, water removal system and beams had to be installed. Thus, the rebuild required a modification including a door to hide and access the sump pump. The project was completed on time and on budget. Mark arrived early everyday and kept me updated throughout the project. Ace HMM is my go to for all of my major home improvement projects. We were referred to ACE Handyman Services by our realtor to get some work done on the house before we list. We had a great experience. Michelle and Mark were great to work with. They were efficient with the quotes and coordinating with the timing. The price is fair. Mark did an awesome job! Besides his job well done on the projects. He's actually the first and ONLY contractor so far that I didn't have to ask to wear shoes covering upon entering our home which was a huge thing for me! I observed him putting them on and removing accordinly when going in and out of the home, that alone I greatly appreciate as it shows the respect he has for our home.
