        An incredible view that is worth the drive up the mountain! Any SUV or vehicle with moderate ground clearance can navigate the road. The cabins are in great shape, very clean, nicely furnished and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking/serving meals. The owners and staff provided great service.

        5 years in a row,it's always the best time staying in the cabins up there,the views are world class and the cabins are always immaculate and beautiful,I highly recommend bass mountain top cabins a weekend up in the clouds I promise you will never forget it!

        Beautiful views, spacious cabin and well-stocked. But....window screens had so many holes, there were all kinds of bugs in our cabin. It was like being in a tent. The main reason we wanted a cabin was to have those amenities. Worse, there were rats!! Freaked out! Worst ever. Never coming back. Will see about cutting our vacation short! Update 8/19/20: We saw mice. We covered up the windows too. The mice chomped off the covers. They seemed to do this nightly. They knew where to enter thru and where to go. There were fecal droppings on the oven, kitchen counter tops, table. We had to cover up everything each time and re-wash. On the 1st night, i heard louder/heavier noise on the 2nd floor, which little mice could not be making. Honestly thought it was a person. BUT: my kids still loved our family time and vacation because it was a beautiful town, away from the noise of the city. They loved the spacious cabin and their attic-like nook too.

      We do take our guests complaints seriously and quickly address any problems when we have been notified about them. Your review is the first we are hearing about these issues. We do not show any reservation in your name though, so would you be so kind as to provide us with the dates of your stay and which cabin you were staying in so these issues can be addressed. The screens will be repaired. Our cabins are treated monthly for a variety of country pests by an exterminator we have on contract. The cabins are in the countryside and have experienced the occasional mouse but have never had a rat presence. Heavy rains do flush animals out of their burrows so it is important to know which cabin you were in so we can further investigate this allegation. We want all our guests to enjoy their stays in our cabins. Your issues will be dealt with promptly once we get the information back from you on where and when you stayed. It is our hope that this visit will not taint your view of our countryside and our cabins.
