The worse part about being in an accident is getting through it alone. In 2013, I was in a 5 car accident, and lawyers in my area of queens made me jump through hoops as if I was applying for a talent show and not there hiring a lawyer. Those lawyers left me stressed, confused and lost. With all the previous obstacles I was put through, a mutual friend introduced me to Jay Jacobson and his amazing staff. Jay is intelligent, respectable, humane, and tells you how it is, without sugar coating the truth. Jay had my back from the first day I met him, and was there for me through surgeries, appointments and depositions. My experience with Jay Jocobson is one I will never forget. My need for a lawyer after a fall in the Co Op City Development that lef tme with permanent injuries was resolved quickly, in good taste and with care. Jay is a personable but detailed professional Lawyer. He covered every aspect of the accident and I won my case without having to go to trial. I have never forgotten what Jay did for me but not just for the money aspect; he cares and he will fight for his clients. One of the things that had a great impact on me then and stands out to me about this man is his concern for others. Even though Imy injuries were the result of one specific area on the property notbeing completed, re not being properly completed Jay demnded that the complex complete all the needed repairs on thie sidewalks and walkways surrounding the development.As I walk about the complex todayy with friends, I brag and boast tothem that, "My lawyer Jay Jocobson made Riverbay repair all these sidewalks." and walkways."
