Van Winkle Heather DDS

I've been a patient of Dr. Van Winkle for a few years now, and I can't recommend their practice highly enough. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly and professional. Scheduling appointments is super easy and they are always around in an emergency.

Dr. Van Winkle is an exceptional dentist. She is deft in technique and goes to great lengths to try to ensure the patient's comfort. If you have questions about a procedure she's happy to answer them in a way a layperson can understand. In these explanations you can see she's not only extremely knowledgeable about what she does, but that she's also passionate about her work. I wish all my doctors were more like her.

I have not seen this dentist, but the review is based on an attempt at seeing her.I was recommended to this dentist by 1800 Dentist.  They seem nice over the phone but did not want to take my insurance.  They wanted me to pay in full and then reimburse me if and only if the insurance company paid them.  Why wouldn't they get paid?  I don't have the time, patience or money to deal with this so I'll have to look for another dentist.
