I went to the municipal building to get some information and had my little dachshund with me, and the ladies were very kind to me and helped me with sincerity. They came to pet my dog and allowed me to use the rest room. I then went to speak to the Police who were just as kind to me. The 2 officers took the time to listen to my situation and understood that I drove 3 hrs to find some answers to a personal problem. I couldn't have been more pleased. While I was walking to my car another officer came outside to even give me more help and information. His information when I got home answered all of my questions. We found a minute to chat about our love for scuba diving and sharks. What great officers and a nice town. Everyone needs to get to k ow the officers of there towns. You would be surprised to see that it's the media that paints a bad picture of Police. I'm very grateful to all law enforcement especially these days with this administration and media that paints them in a bad light bc of one or two bad apples or bad decisions that they have a split second to make. Don't judge til you walk in their shoes. Thank you Mt. Olive Police .
