Bryan worked on my car (thermostat, belts, oil change, and checked to see if my car needed any other attention) He is honest in his dealings, and I would strongly recommend him.

This is the second time Ive used Bryans services. He repaired my wifes Toyota the last time and I brought my Lexus in this time. It was extensive work done - water pump, thermostat, timing belt, gaskets, rear main seal, both exhaust manifolds, cv axles and oil change. It took several days but it runs like new again. If you need a hard working and talented mechanic, dont hesitate to bring it to Bryan. He is highly recommended for all your domestic and Asian auto services.

I would choose zero stars if possible. A complete and utter nightmare experience from beginning to end. Firstly, before I bought my new/used engine, the company requires that it be installed within 10 days of receipt to activate the warranty. Before I clicked purchase, I checked this with Bryan. He said "10 business days is no problem at all." At different points he texted me various questions that demonstrated he might not know what he was doing. For example, he couldnt figure out how to get in the trunk... After he had it 7 days, I checked with him, and he told me "We almost have your old one out." I asked if we were in jeopardy of not being installed in time to activate the warranty, and he replied "I'm not familiar with the warranty", as if he was being told for the first time. In order to activate the warranty, you have to send a photo of the odometer. So, he had to back track and put stuff back together for the next 3 days, to get the photo. Eventually he told me my car was done, after it had been more than 5 and almost 6 weeks since he received the shipment of my new engine. I paid him, and when I left the Check Engine Light was on within literally 30 seconds. I also noticed that my sunroof sunshade was mangled, wrinkled and drooping down. I had just paid $500 to replace it less than 1 year ago at VW dealership. I brought it back to him, and he had it 3 more days before telling me again that the car was ready and had been test drove. This time it lasted 5 minutes, but the second I got on the freeway Check Engine Light on again. At this point, Bryan's attitude completely changed as well. He told me that he wasn't that familiar with these kinds of vehicles, which he never mentioned before. He told me to drive the car for a few days and see what it does. When I attempted to come back to the shop after a few days, he made it literally impossible. He demanded i make it there by 5:00, knowing full well I work an office 9-5. When I said I could come first thing the next morning, he said he had a full schedule. It was my belief that at the top of the schedule should be the guy who already paid. I have my car at VW now, and somehow the timing chain was stretched. They confirmed the new engine is 100% good, and Bryan never expressed any concerns about the engine itself. He said to me a 1/2 dozen times during the process that I had been nothing but patient, extremely patient etc. I told him my patience isn't unlimited and it finally ran out as any reasonable person's would have. He didn't complete the service he was paid for. He caused physical damage to my car. I had to pay a couple thousand extra in rental cars, since he had my car 4 weeks longer than he said he would. After claiming he didn't touch the sunshade and calling me dishonest, I provided invoice and photo proof that the sunshade was fine before he had my car and what the cost was. Then the guy won't reply to my texts or answer my calls but told the person who referred me to him my brother that his lawyer said he can't communicate with me BUT he did ask my brother to ask me what I want to do with the old engine LOL. So, he does want to communicate with me on his terms. He also quoted me one price $1,400, but when I was on the way to pick up the car he told me $,1,741.27. When I pushed back, he did relent and stick to his original quote. Just another indicator of a horrible business owner though. This guy is a complete JOKE as a business owner and mechanic. UPDATE: It is even WORSE than I thought. So, this guy also broke/cracked a plastic charge pipe and patched it with SILICONE. Said silicone melted and was causing a serious vacuum leak. Well, no wonder the CEL and EPC light keep coming on and misfiring. So instead of just replacing the part he broke, he went with a cheap and poorly done fix. Which led to me having to keep coming back and him trying "to figure out the issue." I also know 10000% that this wasn't like that beforehand. See updated photos. Different shop found the source of the vacuum leak with a smoke test and found this complete garbage.
