I am currently a 3rd shift employee at Hoya and I love working here! The pay is incredible, the people I work with are some of the nicest people ever. And my Manager and supervisor are 2 of the easiest people to get along with. Their both very nice and laid back, but they make sure the job gets done thought. I Love everything about my job now! would definitely tell friends and family to get a job here!

The current lab director spends a significant portion of his day is spent wandering around the production floor, frequently engrossed in his phone, even though company policies strictly prohibit the use of phones during work hours. What's even more perplexing is his tendency to engage in extended conversations with managers, creating a clear double standard when he later scolds maintenance or surface workers for engaging in similar discussions. This inconsistency in enforcing rules and the apparent misuse of time raises questions about the director's suitability for the role, as effective leadership should set a consistent example for the entire team.

I chose to resign from my position as I was unable to obtain health insurance and benefits despite working full-time. The HR department explicitly communicated that I couldn't access these crucial benefits, influencing my decision to leave the company. While the staff at first seems normal, working here for a while reveals a lack of true leadership and gratitude from management, especially the current lab director. The initial facade fades, leaving an environment where clear direction and simple gratitude are noticeably absent.
