*fake name for anonymity but this is based on real experience of real former employee* Its been about a year since my employment ended but since my time has ended there, not much has changed per numerous reports Ive gotten from people still on the inside. About 3 months into my time there, Ally was talking dreams of expanding here, expanding there business was good. And so they did expand. They doubled their office space, bought a really nice golf simulator, went on an intense hiring spree- nearly doubling their employee count - and made other investments as well. Then they started firing employees by the handful. Not even 3 months after my managers would be completely booked all day with interviews, they were letting employees go at nearly the same rate. That always made for a scary and confusing work environment. On top of that, they are giving negative reviews on some former employees when those employees list Ally as a reference to prospective employers, which I find to be incredibly petty and ultimately why Im deciding to open up about my experience there. If youre going to fire people at least throw a good word in for them so they can further their careers!

Out of dumpster broker. Only last me one load. Blocked then because on the first load they failed to pay lumper fee. I had to do it myself. Blocked them on logboards. If they call Mr in the posted truck, my minimum rate will be 3-6 times current at the time spot rate on the lane they will call about. This way I pest my operation against rodents and parasites brokers who try to mistreat a carrier in any way.. and only keep the great brokers in my operation which thankfully, there are plenty.
