I am currently waiting for a delivery I placed an hour ago (7:09 PM). At 7:24 PM, it said it was out for delivery. 20 minutes later, I had a call from the driver telling me I would need to come outside to sign for it. I informed him I was sick and would have to find a mask - he told me he would leave the receipt and the pen by the door and back away so I could sign and he would be kept safe. I said okay, and waited. Nothing. Nobody showed up. I called the store, they have insisted it has been delivered. I informed them it had not. I was asked four times to just go outside and check and he left it to the right of the door. Nevermind the fact the delivery instructions did not say to leave it outside - they said to buzz the intercom, leave it outside of my apartment door. This would reduce the exposure within the apartment hallway for other residents. The manager told me she wasnt sure what else they could do - she will see if someone else can bring the order or may have to wait for the same delivery person to come back from a delivery to bring it. So I have an unknown amount of time to wait for freaky fast delivery. The money is gone, I have not been offered a refund, I do not know when the food is coming and the managers excuse was well this is my first shift with this driver, hes new. I do not care. Google maps brings you straight to this building when inputting the address. Not a different building, this one exactly. Theres even a photo of it. I will be contacting corporate regarding the incompetence of the driver and the attitude of his manager considering I was snapped at, belittled, and hung up on. 8:26 and the order placed at 7:09 PM was delivered. The girl who brought it made sure to point out how on the receipt it does say to leave on rug outside. Common sense is not very common nowadays. The rug outside is in reference to the rug outside of my apartment door. There is no rug outside of the main door. I said correct and closed the door. You do not get to charge me $35 and then give me attitude for a mistake on your part.

ten bucks for some bread with lettuce is just insulting. There's no substance to the sandwiches anymore.
