I often wonder how it came to be that a lovely area like Gaslight village came to be stuck with such a dismal shopping experience. The food choice here, if you could call it food, is subpar. Everything is processed, name-brand, and marked up! And while youre shopping, you can look at the hideous store interior that Spartnannash is too broke to remodel! Why would I ever waste my time in a Spartan store when I could go down the street and get a healthy Meijer experience at Fresh Thyme? CLOSE THE STORE. WE WANT BETTER OPTIONS IN GASLIGHT VILLAGE. Youve been crawling along for years now! Just die!

Today, an employee named Diane saved me a tidy sum of money. I had to pick up two Covid tests which wouldve cost $22. at the stores pharmacy. When I brought the tests to the courtesy desk to pay for them, Diane said, You know you might be able to get these for free at the East Grand Rapids library. I told her that was a great idea and that I would scoot over to the library and see if that was the case. In fact, it was the case. You can get one Covid test per week (two tests per box) for free through the Kent District Library system. I later called to thank Diane and with this note, I am thanking her online. Diane is a great representative for D&W.
