When you go into the guest house, they bring you in under false pretenses. The only thing they do is give you applications to public housing and a list of jobs to fill out for. The understanding was to help you move forward to stop the homelessness. And the lady there calls herself a counselor but admitted she had no certificate. Also, it say on their website that it is a 30 to 90 day program. I did everything I was supposed to do, and when I was on my last 30 days, I was told that I couldn't stay the full 30 days because of people going to court and claiming residency because of mail being sent there. First of all, it is 30 days that someone can do that. And second of all, a couple who came in the same day I did has been there past their 90 days and isn't going anywhere anytime soon. I was lied to and forced out with nowhere to go. They don't help you at all. You get false hope just to be left out in the cold. And when I was asked if I had a place to go, and I told them no, all they did was say I'm sorry. Rules are rules. That they could get I trouble by the board if I stayed the full 90 days. Then why is the other couple getting to stay past 90 days then? Sounds like favoritism to me
